Jack Dorsey, co-founder of the social networking site Twitter, has announced his resignation as CEO of the company.
The company said that CTV Prague Agarwal will be the CEO while Jack Dorsey will be on the board of directors. Brett Taylor will be the new chairman of the board. O'Brien was forced to step down, but he became CEO again in 2015. Jack Dorsey will continue to serve as CEO of a company called Square.
"I decided to leave Twitter because I believe that the company is now ready to move on without its founders. I have a lot of confidence in Prague as the CEO of Twitter," he said in a statement. During the last 10 years, his job was to transform the company. He said that he would continue to work for the team as a board of directors. Prag Agarwal joined the company in 2011 as an ad engineer. Was and became CTO in 2018. Prag Agarwal also thanked his colleagues in a tweet.
