Saudi Arabia's Interior Ministry has announced the suspension of flights from seven more countries.
A statement from Saudi officials said the decision was made in response to a recent outbreak of the new coronavirus Omi-Crown virus in several countries.
The countries from which the Saudi government has suspended flights include Malawi, Zambia, Madagascar, Angola, Seychelles, Mauritius and Comoros.
Arab media have quoted official sources as saying that foreign travelers coming directly or indirectly from these countries are not allowed to enter Saudi Arabia, however they have been quarantined for 14 days in other countries permitted by Saudi authorities.
Earlier this month, Saudi Arabia suspended travel to seven African countries over concerns about the new covid 19.
