Russian bombers fly near US state of Alaska

 

Two Russian strategic bombers have flown near Alaska. The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that Russian TU-95 strategic bombers flew for 10 hours in neutral waters (international waters) near Alaska.

Yesterday, Russian President Putin complained about the flight of Western military planes near Russian airspace.

President Putin had said that Western strategic bombers flew within 20 kilometers of the Russian border.

The Russian president added that the West was taking Russia's warnings lightly.
