New Corona variant, travel bans imposed on different countries

 

Many countries have imposed travel bans on various African countries, including South Africa, following reports of a new variant of the corona virus spreading rapidly in South Africa.

Singapore has announced travel bans for seven African countries, including South Africa, which will take effect on Sunday.

The British Health Secretary has said that the new variant found in South Africa is spreading faster than the Delta variant.

He said visitors from South Africa and five other countries would have to be quarantined at the hotel from Sunday.

Meanwhile, Japan has also announced travel bans for six African countries, including South Africa, from today.

Israel, on the other hand, has reported the first case of a new Corona variant reported in South Africa.
