Tel Aviv: Israel has decided to ban all foreigners from entering the country in the wake of the new Corona.
According to the World News Agency, travel bans are being imposed on South Africa after a new form of the corona virus, which appeared in South Africa, proved to be more contagious.
Earlier, Israel had also banned flights from South Africa, but now it has decided to go one step further and ban the entry of all foreigners into the country.
However, the decision to ban foreigners will come into effect after approval by the cabinet.
According to Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, the travel ban on foreigners will be for 14 days and this decision has been made to protect the lives of the Israeli people.
Israeli officials say the biggest benefit of the 14-day ban would be that it would clear up all doubts about the new variant and provide more details, such as lethality and vaccine resistance.
