Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan is spending his time in jail reading books.
Aryan Khan, who was arrested in a drug case, is in Arthur Road Jail after his bail was rejected by the Sessions Court in Mumbai and he is spending his time reading books there.
According to Indian media, Aryan is reading religious and encouraging books in jail. He has been given two books from the prison library. One of them is the book "Golden Line". The other is a book based on the Hindu religious deities Rama and Sita.
According to prison officials, Aryan became angry on October 20 after his bail was rejected by a court, after which he was advised by prison officials to read books from the prison library.
The prison's correctional library reportedly contains religious and inspiring books. Inmates' families can also bring books for them, but only religious and encouraging books are allowed.
It may be recalled that Aryan's bail was rejected by the Sessions Court on October 20 and his lawyer had approached the Bombay High Court. The Bombay High Court will hear Aryan Khan's bail plea on Tuesday, October 26.
