Actor Yasir Hussain has shared an old video of Indian actor Ajay Devgn on social media in which he is paying homage to legendary singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
Yesterday was the 73rd birthday of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, the king of heads. On this occasion, actor Yasir Hussain shared a video of Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn in which he is paying tribute to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
This video is of a music reality show in which the actor participated with his wife Kajol. Ajay Devgn is seen in the video saying that the music of his super hit film "Kacha Dhaage" released in 1999 was composed by Ustad Nusrat Fateh Khan and the lyrics were written by Anand Bakhshi.
Ajay Devgn said that Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan had come to India for a month for the music of the film and stayed in a hotel. He was overweight which made it difficult for him to travel so he could not go out of the hotel. Went and thought that they have come from Pakistan and are calling me why they are not coming to me.
In any case, Bakhshi Sahib used to send a song to Nusrat Sahib who would reject Nusrat Sahib saying that it was not fun and if Nusrat Sahib used to send music, Anand Sahib would reject it. This went on for fifteen, twenty days.
One day Nusrat Sahib said pick me up and take me to Bakhshi Sahib because Nusrat Sahib could not travel due to being overweight so he had seven or eight people with him who would carry him.
Anand Bakhshi Sahib lived on the first floor of the building. When people picked up Nusrat Sahib and took him to his house, Anand Sahib saw him and cried and joined hands. I will be with you where you live and we will sing together.
Yasir Hussain shared this video of Ajay Devgn and wrote that an artist like Nusrat Sahib is born in centuries.
