Imran Khan's ex and first wife Jaime Goldsmith has revealed a decade and a half after her marriage ended that she was used as a 'tool' to politically target her husband.
In an exclusive interview with the Evening Standard, Jaime Goldsmith, 47, of British descent, said the decision to marry a man twice her age was not an easy one and that the people she married were no ordinary people.

Jemima Goldsmith said that the children of her husband Imran Khan's friends were adamant that if their Orange marriage was being arranged, Jemima should be included in it, otherwise they would not get married.
Jaime Goldsmith also said in an interview that the story of her upcoming romantic comedy film 'What's Love Got To Do With It' also revolves around an arranged marriage in Pakistan.
According to him, the story of the film revolves around a 30-year-old female filmmaker who arrives from the UK to shoot a Pakistan Arranged Marriage and then there are many new twists in the film.
Jaime Goldsmith said she spent a decade writing the story "What's Love Got To Do With It".
During the interview, he also talked about his sons Suleiman and Qasim and said that Suleiman is 24 years old while Qasim is 22 years old and both of them have deep ties with Pakistan.
It may be recalled that Jaime Goldsmith had married Imran Khan in 1995 and the two were divorced in 2004.
After his divorce from Jemima Khan, Imran Khan got married for the second time in January 2015 to TV anchor Reham Khan, which lasted only 10 months.
