David Amez, a member of Britain's ruling party, has died after being seriously injured in a knife attack.
David Ames, a member of the ruling party at a Belfast Methodist church in Britain, was stabbed to death by an assailant, according to the World News Agency.
The 69-year-old British MP was rushed to hospital with serious injuries where he succumbed to his injuries. David Ames' fellow lawmaker has accused the hospital of delaying the attack two hours after the attack.
Police say a knife was found at the scene, while eyewitnesses said the 25-year-old attacker was taken into custody after a chase, but the identity of the suspect has not yet been revealed.
David Ames arrived at the church in a campaign to reach out to voters in his constituency. The MLA was rushed to a hospital where he was receiving medical treatment.
