In the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, a ruthless husband injected his pregnant wife with AIDS to get a divorce.
According to Indian media, the girl from Ram Ghat area of Aligarh district was married on December 7, 2020. The bridegroom's family received a dowry of Rs. 12 lakh in cash and Rs. 25 lakh from the bride and groom. Shortly after the marriage, the bride found out that her husband had an illicit affair with a woman working in a nursing home, which led to an argument between the two.
The in-laws called the girl's family and said that there was a lot of quarrel between the two of them so they should get divorced. A few days later, the husband left his pregnant wife outside his village.
When she reached home, the girl told her family that her husband and brother-in-law used to take her for injections, due to which she has contracted AIDS. At the girl's request, police have registered a case against the woman's husband, in-laws and the owner of the injecting nursing home.
