According to the investigation report submitted by the Islamabad police to the trial court, Noor Muqadam made six attempts to save his life due to the connivance of the accomplices of the main accused Zahir Jaffer which failed.
According to the report, the investigation report, also known as a challan under section 173 of the Pakistan Penal Code, said that Noor Muqaddam's life could have been saved if (Zahir Jaffer's) accomplices had not done so.
The challan submitted to Additional District and Sessions Judge Ata Rabbani said that Noor had twice tried to escape from the illegal custody of Zahir Jaffer.
However, due to the connivance of security guards and financiers, they did not manage to escape.
Furthermore, on the day of the incident, on July 20, Zahir Jaffar contacted his father in Karachi four times by phone and his father was also aware of the situation in the house and illegal detention.
However, the parents of the accused did not inform the police but instead reassured him when he cut the girl's throat, saying, "No need to worry, I will handle the matter, I will take you out and dispose of the body." I am sending people to install.
According to the challan, Zahir Jaffar was scheduled to leave for the United States on a Qatar Airways flight on July 19 at 3:50 pm, but he did not go.
Police also submitted a list of 18 witnesses, including the victim's father Shaukat Ali Muqaddam, an autopsy doctor and a police officer.
Accused pleads guilty
The challan said that on July 18, Noor reached the house of Zahir Jaffer in Sector F-7/4 and the security guard allowed him to enter while a pet dog also expressed his familiarity with him.
However, the two got into an argument on July 20 over Noor's apparent refusal to marry, after which the alleged killer locked her in a room, citing the accused's statement in the challan in which he confessed to the murder. ۔
The accused said that Noor had rejected her marriage proposal and locked her in a room. She was very angry at the forced imprisonment and warned Zahir of the consequences.
The victim threatened Zahir that she would go to the police and lodge a complaint against him. According to the statement, the accused informed his parents about the incident and instructed the employees not to let anyone in or let Noor out of the house. Give
The challan said that Noor managed to get out of the room and ran towards the main door of the house but security guard Iftikhar did not allow her to go out, this was the occasion when her life could have been saved.
Zahir then locked them in the room again but Noor tried his best to jump out of the washroom window and run towards the main door again but instead of helping him the security card went to the basement while Mali Mohammad Jan took him home. The main door was not allowed to open and Zahir dragged Noor into the room and cut his throat.
Citing call data, the challan said that before killing Noor, Zahir contacted his parents at 2:21 pm, 3 pm, 6:35 pm and 7:29 pm.
The role of therapy works employees
According to the investigation report, Zahir Jaffar called 5 employees of the therapy works to his residence / place to hide the evidence and the body.
When the workers tried to enter the room, Zahir got upset and attacked them, injuring a worker named Amjad Mahmood who was taken to hospital.
However, the injured lied to the hospital management and did not register the incident in the medical receipt, instead stating the cause of the injury as a road accident.
According to the challan, Zahir Jaffar's parents and employees of the therapy works tried to cover up the crime and destroy the evidence.
Complaint registration
The report further said that on July 19, the victim's father Shaukat Muqaddam went to the cattle market to buy a scapegoat. When he returned, there was no light in the house.
He asked his wife to call Noor but his phone was switched off. Later, Noor called his parents and told them that he was going to Lahore with his friends for a few days.
According to Shaukat Muqaddam, after informing me, Zahir Jaffar called and said that Noor was not with him.
However, at 10 pm on July 20, he received a call from the Kohsar police station informing him that his daughter had been killed.
"When I reached this house, I saw my daughter's decapitated body, after which I lodged a complaint with the police," he added.
