Military exercises begin in Saudi Arabia, 21 countries including Pakistan participate

 

Joint military exercises of 21 countries, including Pakistan, have been launched in Saudi Arabia. The purpose of the military exercises called Bright Star is to exchange experiences in professional matters.

Troops from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Egypt, Greece, Jordan and other countries arrived at Saudi Arabia's Muhammad Najib Military Base, where the Bright Star military exercises began. A briefing on military exercises was given through the seminar.

 The purpose of the military exercises is to learn from each other's experiences in professional matters and to develop counter-terrorism strategies, enhance maritime security, train management in air operations and detect unmanned aerial vehicles.
