Heavy rains in different parts of Lahore, power system affected

 

Roads in different parts of the provincial capital have been flooded due to torrential rains, while power outages have affected citizens.

According to details, heavy rains have inundated the low-lying areas and several feet of water has accumulated on the roads, affecting the flow of traffic, while water has also entered houses in the low-lying areas.

The rains have also affected the power system and many LESCO feeders have tripped, disrupting power supply in various parts of the city.
