Google has temporarily blocked several Afghan government accounts for fear that important information could fall into the hands of the Taliban.
A Google spokesman said in a statement that the accounts could be used to leak information to allies working with the United States.
According to the American newspaper, dozens of Afghan ministries have been corresponding with Google accounts while the Taliban is looking for a list of people who are working with the United States.
The paper claims that they include several key ministries, including the Afghan presidential office and the foreign ministry.
