The quake affected Swat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its environs. The quake caused panic among the people and they came out of their houses reciting the Kalima Tayyaba.
According to the Seismological Center, the magnitude of the quake was 4.58 on the Richter scale and the depth was 150 km. The epicenter was reported below the Pakistan-Afghanistan-Tajikistan border.
It may be recalled that two days ago (Saturday) an earthquake of magnitude 4 and a depth of 180 km was also felt in Swat.
