London: Nadine Doris, who recently took charge of the Ministry of Culture, has demanded a complete ban on the niqab.
According to the International News Agency, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has reshuffled his cabinet and changed the ministry of Badin Doris to more important ministries, including the Ministry of Culture.
Nadine Doris, 64, has always criticized Muslim women for wearing the niqab and likened the burqa to a "medieval" dress code. Nadine Doris called for a complete ban on the niqab.
In an interview after taking over the ministry of culture, Nadine Doris reiterated her old demand that the niqab be used to cover wounds caused by domestic violence. Muslim women are not even allowed to choose clothes, nor are they allowed to choose a man for marriage.
Responding to a Muslim female user on a microblogging site, Nadine Doris, referring to Muslim women wearing burqas in Britain, said it was a medieval dress that had no place in today's liberal society. No progressive country will tolerate it.
