The United States has declared former President Ashraf Ghani indifferent to Afghanistan.
A statement issued by the US State Department said that Ashraf Ghani is no longer important in Afghanistan. Their status in Afghanistan is gone.
It may be recalled that on Sunday, instead of a peaceful transfer of power, Ashraf Ghani quietly fled Afghanistan with his close associates. On Wednesday, he released a video message saying he did not want bloodshed in Kabul, so he had to leave Afghanistan in a hurry. Ashraf Ghani also said that he would return to Afghanistan. The United States has responded to his statement.
