Police have arrested an actress and a top model involved in prostitution from a five-star hotel in Posh area of Joho.
According to Indian media, the police had been receiving information for some time that a woman named Isha Khan was running a prostitution network in a five star hotel located in Joho area. Police contacted Isha Khan, who turned out to be a fake customer, who sent pictures of several girls. Police selected photos of two girls, one of whom is a top model and has worked in a number of commercials. The other girl is a TV actress who works in serials.
Police arranged Rs 200,000 per girl for two hours with Isha Khan and called her to the hotel. As soon as the three reached the hotel, the police arrested them.
According to police, the model and actress said that they were unemployed due to the lockdown and could not find work, which forced them to engage in prostitution to support themselves in Mumbai.
