PML-N leader and former prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif has said that those whose job it is not to do politics today are doing politics, they are overthrowing governments and forming governments.
Addressing a PDM meeting in Karachi from the UK on video link, he said that silence is a crime in today's situation.
Now no one should doubt how an elected Prime Minister was ousted through conspiracy. This government has made 20 million people unemployed. Poverty was rapidly decreasing under our government. We lifted 15 million people out of poverty. ‘
"How long can one remain silent about what is happening?" He asked.
"Some generals have taken the entire justice system hostage. Why are we silent?" Plans were made against the just and God-fearing judges, why did we remain silent. Why did we remain silent when RTS was shut down? State after state, why did we remain silent? '
Nawaz Sharif said, "They have turned off my voice on TV because I am telling the truth." My words are reaching the homes of the people of Pakistan by the grace of God.
"You have to decide whether you want to stand with those who speak out against oppression or with those who have been oppressed. Today is the time for all of us to decide what kind of Pakistan we want to leave for future generations.
