Taliban kill a folk singer in Andarab district of Baghlan province of Afghanistan. According to American news agency AP, folk singer Fawad Andrabi was killed by Taliban on Friday. He first came to their house and searched it, then shot his father in the head.
Fawad Andrabi's son said his father was a glue car that entertained people, he demanded justice for his father and a local Taliban council had promised to punish his father's killer. Spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid told the AP that he would investigate the incident but did not have further information on the murder.
Fawad Andrabi used to play ghechak and satar and sing folk songs about his place of birth and Afghanistan. They demand that the Taliban respect the human rights of artists.
