The Taliban advanced from different sides in Panjshir, the clouds of war began to hover

The Taliban have begun advancing from different directions in Afghanistan's Panjshir province, after which the clouds of war began to hover there again.

According to reports, talks are underway between the Taliban and Panjshir Valley dignitaries and no breakthrough has been made so far.

On the other hand, the Taliban have once again advanced in the Panjshir Valley and Taliban fighters have set up fronts on the mountains and peaks adjacent to the valley.

What is the invincible province of Afghanistan where even the Taliban have not been able to reach yet?

According to Afghan media reports, the Taliban have claimed that militants have entered the Panjshir Valley from different directions.

Amanullah, a member of the Taliban's cultural commission, said there was no resistance when entering the valley.

However, a member of the Panjshir Valley Resistance Force has denied the Taliban's claims.

Muhammad Almas Zahid, a member of the resistance force's negotiating delegation, said no fighting had taken place in Panjshir and no one had entered.

He added that if the talks failed, serious consequences would emerge, paving the way for war and foreign intervention.

It is believed that talks are underway between the Taliban and the resistance force in the Afghan capital Kabul and an agreement was reached between the two sides in recent days not to attack each other.

It should be noted that Panjshir Valley is the last stronghold of resistance against the Taliban and besides, they have gained control over almost the whole of Afghanistan.

The resistance force in Panjshir is led by Ahmed Masood, the youngest son of former jihadi commander Ahmed Shah Masood, while Ahmed Masood recently announced that he would rather die than surrender to the Taliban.

Why Panjshir Valley is invincible?

The Afghan province of Panjshir is still unconquerable and the Taliban have not been able to enter. Panjshir was earlier part of Parwan province which was given the status of a separate province in 2004.

The capital of Panjshir province is Bazarak, the hometown of former jihadi commander and former defense minister Ahmad Shah Masood.

After the Taliban came to power, Ahmad Shah Massoud successfully defended the valley in the 1990s, before which even the former Soviet Union's army could not enter the valley and despite numerous attacks, the valley remained invincible each time. ۔
