Taliban spokesman's keynote press conference

 

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid has said that the deadline for the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan is August 31. All troops should implement the deadline. The United States should refrain from withdrawing skilled people from Afghanistan.

Addressing a press conference in Kabul, he said that he was not aware of the meeting between Mullah Baradar and the CIA chief. If the ex-servicemen were able, they would be included in the force. The list of countries and people is long and we will talk about it later. We have not decided to extend the evacuation deadline. We do not want the embassies to be closed and the diplomats to leave. Hopefully soon all countries will open their embassies in Afghanistan. There has been no incident of unrest in Afghanistan including Kabul in the last few days. We will not retaliate or allow it. There will be no human rights violations in Afghanistan. Foreign embassies have been assured of security. After the formation of the government, the issue of national flag will be resolved. There is a large crowd of people at Kabul airport. We are working carefully there. We want the process of government formation to be completed soon. The land of Afghanistan will no longer be used against anyone. The future system will be in accordance with Sharia law. We stand by the statement of amnesty.
