Significant progress has been made in Noor Muqadam case in District and Sessions Court Islamabad. Police produced accused Jan Mohammad in the court of duty judge Shehzad Khan.
The court sent accused Jan Mohammad to Adiala Jail on judicial remand and ordered his re-appearance on August 28. The main accused in the case Zahir Jaffer and his parents are also lodged in Adiala Jail on judicial remand.
Zahir Jaffer, the main accused in the Noor Muqaddam murder case, has confessed to killing Noor Muqaddam. Police also obtained video evidence of Noor's torture. Noor Muqaddam ran from the balcony to the guard at 4.30 pm, locked himself in the security guard's cabin, accused Zahir Jaffar came back and took Noor from the cabin. He was taken out, the guards in the street kept watching all this, no guard stopped Zahir Jaffar from torturing him, there were other people in the street who saw Noor dragging.
