Pakistan and Kazakhstan hold joint military exercise 'Dostarum III'

 

The inaugural ceremony of the Pakistan-Kazakhstan joint military exercise 'Dostarum III' was held in the presence of military officials of both the countries. The exercise aims to promote co-ordination in the field of counter-terrorism.

According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), national anthems of both the countries were played at the ceremony, which was attended by military officials of both the countries. The joint exercise is being conducted as a two-year exercise between the two armies. The first joint exercise was held in Pakistan in 2017 and the second in Kazakhstan in 2019.

The ISPR added that in the exercise, the forces will take part in hostage rescue, compound clearance and helicopter replacing.
