Taliban attacks are intensifying in Afghanistan, with the Taliban claiming control of 200 districts across the country. The Taliban have openly stated what will happen to the Afghan government after the withdrawal of foreign troops.
In an interview with the British News Agency, Afghan Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said that peace talks with the Afghan government could take place in the coming days, and it may take a month for both of them to prepare a written plan for peace and order. Despite the strong position, they are very serious about dialogue and negotiation.
The Afghan government says it is happy if the Taliban provide a written roadmap for peace.
It should be noted that after clashes between Afghan forces and the Taliban on the Afghan-Tajik border in recent days, government troops escaped and took refuge in Tajikistan, while the Afghan Taliban took control of several areas besides the main border corridor in Badakhshan province.
