Asma Nabil, the writer of Geo TV drama serial 'Khani', who was battling cancer, lost her battle with cancer at the age of 40.
Asma Nabil, 40, was suffering from breast cancer. Her sudden death last night saddened the showbiz stars.
Asma was also part of an awareness campaign against a deadly disease such as breast cancer.
He wrote brilliant plays for Pakistan's drama industry, including Khani, Khuda Meera Hai, Damsa, Surkh Chandni and Bandi.
Asma stepped into Bollywood by writing the lyrics for the Bollywood film 'Helicopter Ella' which also starred actress Kajol. The song was performed by Shilpa Rao.
Asma has also worked as an advertising consultant in many companies. She has been the creative director at JWT for four years, and has also been the creative head at Orienteum.
