The first solar eclipse of this year has started but the eclipse will not be visible in Pakistan while the eclipse will reach its peak at 3:42 PM according to Pakistani time.
According to Dr. Javed Iqbal, Director, Institute of Space Science and Technology, Karachi University, the eclipse will not be visible in Pakistan.
Prof. Dr. Javed Iqbal said that the eclipse was observed in Russia, Greenland, Northern Canada, North Asia, Europe, America and other countries.
He said that during a solar eclipse, the moon will pass between the earth and the sun, while during a solar eclipse, the moon will not be able to cover the sun completely due to its distance from the earth.
Prof. Dr. Javed Iqbal also said that the ring of fire will also be seen during the eclipse.
The director of the Institute of Space Science and Technology added that the eclipse would end at 4:34 p.m.
