Remittances increase by 29% this year, Pakistanis send billions of dollars to the country

 

This year, remittances have increased by 29%. In the current financial year, Pakistanis abroad sent billions of dollars to Pakistan.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan, Pakistanis remitted $ 2.5 billion in May alone. The remittance rate is 34% higher than in May last year.

In the first 11 months of the current financial year, remittances stood at $ 26.7 billion.
