Amnesty International has accused Iran's newly elected president, Ibrahim Raeisi, of crimes against humanity.
According to foreign media, Amnesty International has issued a report alleging that Iranian President Ibrahim Raeisi is involved in crimes such as enforced disappearances, torture and murder.
Just a few hours ago, the victory of the newly elected Iranian President Ibrahim Raeisi in the general election was announced.
Immediately after that, the Amnesty International report began to erupt. The report says that instead of investigating crimes against humanity against Ibrahim Raeisi in Iran, he has been allowed to run in the elections and has been made president.
The report includes a statement from Amnesty International Secretary-General Aeneas Klamar, who said that granting immunity to Ibrahim Raeisi was the most important aspect of Iran. Because a person involved in crimes such as enforced disappearances, torture and murder has been promoted to the presidency, it is all a matter of concern.
The Amnesty International report added that in 2018, Ibrahim Raeesi was told that Ibrahim Raeesi was a member of an Iranian death commission involved in crimes such as extrajudicial killings and enforced disappearances.
The report claims that this death commission of Iran had killed all such political opponents in 1988. All of those killed were in prisons, numbering in the thousands.
It has been claimed that this death commission of Iran conducts its work in such secrecy that its activities are still secret from the Iranian authorities and the bodies of political opponents killed in 1988 have not been identified yet.
