Indian accused threatens to hijack plane bound for Pakistan

 

A man has been arrested in India for threatening to hijack a flight to Pakistan. According to Daily Pakistan Global, the accused belongs to the city of Shajalpur in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, whose name has been identified as Ajawal Jain. He had called Rajabhoj Airport yesterday and while talking to the duty officer threatened to hijack a plane bound for Pakistan from Bhopal and Indore airports.

After this phone call, the security agencies came into action and traced the accused and took him into custody. A flight was scheduled to depart from the airport for Mumbai, which was delayed after a stringent check after the threat. It has not been ascertained whether any flight was departing from this airport for Pakistan or not.
