In the last 24 hours, 35 more people have died and 1,097 new cases have been reported.
According to the National Command and Operations Center, after the recent deaths, the total number of deaths from Corona across the country has risen to 22,108, while the total across the country has risen to 951,865. A total of 32,936 patients are being treated across the country, with 896,821 Pakistanis battling the deadly virus.
Punjab is the largest province infected with Corona virus. In Punjab, 345,449 people were infected with Corona, 10,688 people died while 9,275 were being treated in different hospitals. In Sindh, 333,798 people were infected with Corona out of which 5,000 368 died, 19 thousand 360 people are undergoing treatment.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 137,370 people were infected, 4,289 people died and 131,142 people succumbed to the corona virus. 1,939 people are undergoing treatment in the province. In the federal capital Islamabad, 82,470 people were infected with corona, 775 people died and 1,037 people are still receiving treatment.
Corona virus was found in 5,869 people in Gilgit-Baltistan, there are 772 active cases in Gilgit, 303 people died while 25,770 people defeated the corona virus.
In Balochistan, 26,845 people fell victim to corona, 772 were active cases and 303 people died. In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 20,064 people were infected with corona, 574 people died while there are 422 active cases in the province.
