The United States has announced it will send aid to Pakistan to stem the spread of the global corona virus.
The State Department said in a statement on social media that the US government was sending aid to the Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka to stop the spread of Corona.
The U.S. continues to support South Asia in responding to the COVID-19 crisis, and we are working non-stop to help manage the devastating effects of the pandemic. Today we're dispatching an airlift of emergency medical supplies from @USAID to Maldives, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

The State Department said the aid was intended to meet health needs in South Asia.
The spokesman further said that 1200 plus oximeters and 340,000 PPE kits would be sent to Pakistan.
On the other hand, the United States has announced to provide 80 million doses of corona vaccine worldwide.
The Corona vaccine will be delivered before July, according to a White House statement. Countries in Latin America, the Caribbean, South and Southeast Asia and Africa are on the priority program.
In this regard, the US President said that we are not providing vaccines to gain support and concessions, but to save people's lives, to provide a vaccine to rid the world of the plague.
