Benazir Bhutto was banned from attending the Rawalpindi rally but she did not agree, Asif Zardari

 

Former President Asif Ali Zardari has revealed that Benazir Bhutto was barred from attending the Rawalpindi meeting but he did not agree.

Addressing the 68th birth anniversary of Benazir Bhutto at Bilawal House Lahore, Asif Zardari spoke openly for the first time on the death of Pakistan's first female Prime Minister.

He said that death was real, Benazir Bhutto was barred from attending the rally in Rawalpindi but he did not agree.

The former president said that the intelligence officer had told her on the night of the meeting that her life was in danger, to which Benazir Bhutto asked the officer why he did not arrest her.

He said that Benazir Bhutto was unique, she expressed her thoughts in the world, intellectuals from all over the world are writing books on her today.

Asif Zardari further said that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto used to say that this sun would never set.

He said that Allah Almighty had given so much courage to Benazir Bhutto that with the help of workers he ousted Pervez Musharraf.

The former president also said that after many years, I have been meeting the workers, sometimes in jail and sometimes in the hospital. Meeting the workers is no less than a gift for me.

He said that man is very weak. Pray, Mulla, give me courage till the grave. I have to die. I can face every difficulty because of you.

Asif Ali Zardari said that what can I teach Bilawal Bhutto Zardari? Can anyone tell me if a fish can learn to swim?

He said that Bilawal Bhutto is moving forward in his wave, PPP chairman will take his future generations with him.

The former president also cut Benazir Bhutto's 68th birthday cake on the occasion.
