A bomb blast near the Afghan capital, Kabul, has killed at least seven people.
Ahmad Zia, deputy spokesman for the Interior Ministry, said two civilian vehicles were bombed in the Dasht-e-Barchi area west of Kabul, killing seven people and injuring six others.
On the other hand, a civilian lost his life in a bomb attack in Mazar-e-Sharif this morning.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks.
