This month is your last chance to use Google's best free service

One of the reasons Google Photos is so popular is that it has unlimited free storage for photos and videos.

However, Google's best service is ending free storage.

In November 2020, Google announced that the free Google Photos policy would be changed from June 1, 2021.

New photos and videos uploaded to Photos will be part of the 15 GB of free storage that the user gets with each Google Account created.

That means 15 GB of online storage is now provided with Google Account for Gmail, Drive, etc., which stores emails and files.

But from June 1, 2021, docs, sheets, slides, as well as photos and videos uploaded to Google Photos will become part of the same storage.

Google Photos can now store unlimited photos and videos for free (images must be 16 megapixels and videos must be HD).

But from June, every new photo or video will take up free 15GB storage.

Needless to say, the more people take videos and photos these days, the more free storage will last.

The good news is that this policy will take effect from June 1, the last month of May in which you can upload as many videos and photos as you want in Google Photos.

Regarding the new policy, Google says that 80% of its users can take at least 3 years to fill 15GB of storage, but 20% can fill it in a very short time.

According to Google, the purpose of eliminating this free service is to meet the growing demand while providing the best storage experience for everyone.
