According to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 4,113 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people affected by Corona nationwide to 841,636. There are currently 84,480 active cases across the country, while 738,727 people have been able to defeat the deadly virus.
Punjab ranks first in Corona victims and deaths, with 310,616 people infected with Corona and 8,741 dead. In Sindh, 287,643 people were affected and 4,678 people died. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 121,099 people were affected and 3,466 killed.
In the federal capital, 76,969 people were diagnosed with corona, of whom 698 lost their lives. In Gilgit-Baltistan, corona virus was found in 5,341 people while 107 people were infected with the deadly virus. There were 22,776 corona cases in Balochistan out of which 239 people lost their lives.
At present, there are 16,568 active cases in Sindh, 41,634 in Punjab, 11,076 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 11,577 in the federal capital Islamabad, 120 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 1,387 in Balochistan and 2,118 in Azad Kashmir.
