The deadly corona virus has claimed the lives of 74 people in the last 24 hours, while 3,754 new cases have been reported. The total number of people affected by Corona in Pakistan has reached 880,362.
According to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 36,725 tests were conducted yesterday, of which 3,754 were positive. The number of active cases of corona in the country is 68,223. In the last 24 hours, 44 deaths were reported in Punjab, 20 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 20 in Balochistan. Three deaths were reported.
In Sindh, 299,194 people have been infected with corona so far, while the number of active cases in the province is 18,317. A total of 276,076 people recovered from the deadly virus while 4,801 people lost their lives. In Punjab, 327,362 people were infected with corona, 287,376 people recovered after treatment and 9,411 people died. The virus has spread. There are 30,575 active cases of Corona in Punjab.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, corona virus was found in 127,038 people, 3,786 people could not cope with the deadly virus and lost their lives while 115,428 people succumbed to the virus, the number of active cases in the province is seven. There are 824 thousand. In the federal capital Islamabad, 79,221 cases of corona were reported, 731 deaths occurred while 70,000 people got rid of the virus, while 8,490 patients are still undergoing treatment in Islamabad.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, 5,423 corona cases were reported, 107 people died while 5,220 people recovered, while 96 patients are undergoing treatment in the province. In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, corona virus was confirmed in 18,258 people, 15,921 people were recovered while 514 people died, 1,823 active cases.
