Former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has telephoned Prime Minister Imran Khan in which the two leaders discussed the situation in Palestine. According to an official statement, the two leaders also congratulated each other on Eid-ul-Fitr. The two leaders also condemned the Israeli aggression and expressed solidarity with the Palestinians. The Prime Minister strongly condemned the attacks on innocent worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque and the bombing of Gaza and called on the international community to stop Israeli attacks and protect Palestinians. According to the statement, the two leaders also called for UN resolutions and emergency measures for a two-state solution.
