Lightning strikes rock in Saudi Arabia, video goes viral


 
A lightning strike in southern Saudi Arabia has caused a mountain to crack and its rocks to split into several parts.

Twitter user Ayman Dayan also shared a video of the lightning strike in his tweet. Ayman Dayan writes: "If you are wondering if a mountain could be split in two by a lightning strike, then look at the response to the tweet. This has happened in the south of Saudi Arabia."

The video shows a lightning strike on a mountain, the other video shows a scene after a lightning strike in which it is clear that the mountain rock has been torn apart by a lightning strike and a crack has appeared in the mountain.

Lightning produces a thunderous sound with lightning. Such a sound can also occur in the sky. Lightning strikes can cause loss of life and property. If lightning strikes a person, it burns him to death. Lightning also burns trees and crops to ashes.
