Israel signals end to war in Gaza
After two weeks of bombings and airstrikes on Palestine, the Israeli government has signaled a halt to the war.
According to the International News Agency, the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has alerted the Egyptian government to stop the fighting. The final announcement regarding the ceasefire will be made after the meeting.
It should be noted that a ceasefire was also demanded in today's UN General Assembly session. So far 232 Palestinians have been martyred and hundreds injured in Israeli attacks. More than 40,000 people have been displaced due to the attacks.
