In the last 24 hours in India, another 3,689 Corona patients have lost their lives.
According to Indian media, another 3,689 people died from Corona in one day, bringing the total number of deaths from Corona in the country to 215,600. Similarly, in one day, 393,000 new cases of corona were reported, bringing the total number of people affected by corona to 19.5 million.
This is the 12th consecutive day that the number of daily corona cases in India has crossed 300,000, while the number of daily deaths in four days is more than 3,000. Hospitals overflowed and oxygen shortages ensued, leading to an increase in deaths. Medical equipment and oxygen gas from many countries, including the United Kingdom, have also started arriving in India.
The reason for the new wave of Corona is that millions of people are participating in Vidhan Sabha elections, local body elections and Kumbh Mela in 5 states without any consideration, even though more than 140 million people in India have been vaccinated so far. And now the process of vaccinating all citizens over the age of 18 has begun.
