In Lahore, challans of 23,875 vehicles and motorcycles were issued in three days for not wearing masks while 12 cases were registered for violation of SOPs in public transport.
According to private TV, the district administration also stopped 181 vehicles for violating more than 50 per cent rides and Corona SOPs, challaning 16,404 motorcycles, 3,235 rickshaws and 1,539 cars. Similarly, challan tickets of 1,589 public transport, 432 mini Mazda and 676 trawlers were issued. DIG Operations Sajid Kayani said that police operations on violation of Corona SOPs are underway, police officers should ensure implementation of Smart Lock Dawn issued by Punjab government, violation of Corona SOPs within 24 hours. 73 cases were registered, 442 cases were registered for violation of mask, 476 cases were registered for violation of other SOPs.
