The United Kingdom has added four countries, including Pakistan, to its red list of sanctions since April 9 in the wake of a growing number of new cases of the coronavirus.
The British High Commissioner told Christian Turner on social networking site Twitter that Pakistan would also be included in the travel ban starting in the UK from April 9.

He said the red listing meant that only citizens of England and Ireland and those with residency in the UK would be allowed to come to the UK.
The British High Commissioner said that if they had stayed in Pakistan for 10 days before their arrival in the UK, the passengers would have to be quarantined in the hotel for 10 days and would have to pay for the stay themselves.
He said that these measures would be implemented from 4 am on Friday, April 9.
Christian Turner said direct flights between the two countries would continue but flight schedules could change.
According to a BBC report, the British government has included 4 countries including Pakistan, Philippines, Kenya and Bangladesh in the red list.
The British government has currently red-listed about 40 countries that have been banned from traveling.
