The Indian media is claiming that the Hindu religious books Ramayana and Mahabharata have been included in the Saudi curriculum and now Saudi students will also read these Hindu books. This change in the curriculum has been brought under the Vision 2030 of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman. In addition to the addition of these Hindu religious books, English language has also been made compulsory in the curriculum.
According to a private TV channel, Indian media claims that as part of Prince Muhammad bin Salman's Vision 2030, students will be taught about the history and culture of other countries. While teaching about Indian culture, along with Mahabharata and Ramayana, important parts of Indian culture like Yoga and Ayurveda etc. will also be given attention.
According to the report, Saudi citizens are also posting pictures of this new curriculum. "My son's curriculum includes history of Hinduism and Buddhism, Ramayana, Karma, Mahabharata, Dharma, etc." The move will help Saudi Arabia adapt to the requirements of modernity.
