Japan will host joint war games with the United States and France for the first time next month.
According to the foreign news agency, Japanese Defense Minister Nobuokashi has announced the holding of large-scale military exercises in the southwestern part of the country, which has increased China's concerns in the region.
In this regard, the Japanese Defense Minister added that the ground forces of the three countries will take part in the ground exercises to be held from May 11 to May 17 this year. Tokyo is expanding defense cooperation with its key ally, the United States, to counter China's growing interest in the East and South Seas. France also has the idea of a free and accessible Indo-Pacific.
Nobuo Keshi told the media that a strong military partnership between Japan, the United States and France would improve the combat strategy and expertise of the forces defending the remote islands.
