The Israeli foreign minister says he will do everything possible to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
Speaking to media after a meeting with a senior Emirati official in Cyprus, Israeli Foreign Minister Ghabi Ashkenazi said the purpose of the meeting was to work together for prosperity and stability in the region, as well as in the Middle East. We also talked openly about other challenges, including Iran, for stability and regional peace. Israel will do what it can to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
