The "disappearance" of 3,000 Corona patients in the Indian state of Karnataka has added to the government's woes.
According to Times Now, 3,000 Corona patients are missing from Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka. Authorities say they are trying to locate the missing patients with the help of police.
Minister of State R Ashok said that mobile phones of two to three thousand patients were switched off and they were not even at home. He appealed to Corona patients to keep their mobile phones on as most people turn off their mobiles and rush to hospitals when their condition worsens. The majority of patients in the intensive care unit are those who have switched off their mobile phones after testing positive for corona.
Authorities fear that patients who have gone missing are not only at risk, but could also accelerate the spread of the disease.
