Although the octopus is a very intelligent animal, in one very rare case the octopus attacked a person.
The incident happened to young Australian geologist Lance Carlson on March 18. He was snorkeling on the shores of Geographical Bay in Australia when he first saw an animal that he thought was a sting ray that jumped out of the water and ran towards him.
Later, they started filming her and she approached them but immediately disappeared into the water. After the incident, he resumed his work and saw a pile of crab shells nearby. Suddenly he felt a hiss on his left arm and at the same time something like a whip hit his neck and back.
He thought it might be an octopus whose house he had inadvertently set foot on. While swimming, his blue glasses faded, and perhaps the ink from the octopus blurred the whole scene. Now frightened, they turned to the shore.
Throughout the process, they were terrified because octopuses release ink into the water in case of danger, but in this case, the octopus also attacked them. A few minutes later, red marks appeared on his neck and back. However, Carlson described the process as "very painful." The octopus can also be seen angrily in the video 20 minutes earlier.
