A fire broke out at a hospital in the Indian state of Maharashtra, killing 13 patients.

According to Indian media, the fire broke out at 3 pm in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on the second floor of the four-storey hospital where patients suffering from corona were undergoing treatment. At the time of the accident, 90 patients were admitted to the hospital, the cause of the fire is being determined.

On the tragic accident, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his condolences to the bereaved and announced Rs 200,000 to the heirs of the deceased patients and Rs 50,000 to the injured.
