Two Taiwanese fighter jets have been hijacked after a fierce collision and the body of a pilot has been found.
Taiwan's National Rescue Command Center said two Air Force F-5E fighter jets crashed into the sea off the southeast coast after potentially colliding in mid-air during training, leaving an Air Force pilot, Coast Guard and Other aid agencies arrived on the scene and began searching for the pilots.
Taiwan's Defense Ministry said it was monitoring the situation. According to Bloomberg, after the death of one pilot and the disappearance of another, Taiwan suspended all military aircraft training grounds and exercises.
